“Look at the nations and watch—
and be utterly amazed.
For I am going to do something in your days
that you would not believe,
even if you were told.” – Habakkuk 1:5, NIV
2020 has proven to be the year where anything can happen. What we see physically is a manifestation of what has occurred in the spiritual realm. satan has taken advantage of this season by unleashing wickedness of all sorts into the world. Do not be deceived. Although hell is running loose, goodness will prevail. God has the victory. As believers of Jesus Christ, we should assume a position of prayer that brings heaven to earth.
Instead of handing our hearts over to anxiety and fear, we must give them to God. This season is an opportunity to boldly pray the desires of our hearts. Pray for miracles of healing, provision, and deliverance. Pray for supernatural protection. Pray that systems rooted in evil would topple. Pray that the light of Christ would shine bright from every believer.
The magnitude of your requests will not offend God. The Lord wants us to express the righteous desires of our hearts to Him. He placed those desires there. When we pray for the desires that God places in our hearts, He will answer us favorably.
Take advantage of 2020 for righteousness’ sake. Trust in God, pray boldly, and expect the unexpected. We have been given the power to shift the atmosphere. Anything can happen!

Bringing Heaven to Earth: Matthew 6:8-10, NKJV – “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
Pray Boldly: Hebrews 4:16, NIV – “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” 1 John 5:14-15, NIV – “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.”
The Desires of Your Heart: Read Psalm 37 in its entirety.
Power: John 14:11-13, NIV – “Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”
